Using the Central Browser

This topic describes how to connect to Central using the Central Browser. For more information on working with Central projects in the Central Browser, see:

Central Browser users can connect to Central, view a project’s history, explore the models included in a revision, directly compare objects in two revisions, make comments on different aspects of a project revision and attach additional files to a revision.

Launch the Central Browser and sign in using your Seequent ID. Once you have signed in, the servers you have access to will be displayed in the Central Servers panel in the Central Projects tab:

Click on a server to connect to it.

You can connect to only one Central server at a time.

Once the connection has been established, the Central Projects tab will display all active projects you have permission to view. Projects are grouped by location:

The project location is set in the Central Portal in the project’s Overview tab:

When you are connected to a Central server, you can click the Open Portal button to open the Central Portal in your web browser:
